OUR MISSION
Mason Task Force is dedicated to strengthening our community by mobilizing volunteers, fostering partnerships, and delivering programs that address local needs and create lasting impact.
ABOUT US
The Mason Task Force was founded in March 1993 by Rev. Robert Reed and Mrs. Elizabeth Grandberry, who united local churches, businesses, and citizens to provide programs such as youth activities, tutoring, arts and crafts, and senior services. From the beginning, their vision was to establish a community center.
In 2003, the Task Force reorganized under new leadership, with Michael Harris as President.
By 2005 he and the new team partnered with city leaders to plan a park in the Richland Hill subdivision. That same year, the organization successfully opposed a proposed junkyard, supported new ordinances, welcomed the town’s Dollar General, and launched the annual Citywide Clean-Up Campaign with Keep Tipton County Beautiful.
Today, the Task Force continues to strengthen Mason through events like the Mason Jubilee, the Christmas Parade, and the Farmer’s Market. By partnering with residents, churches, and businesses, it promotes growth, unity, and beautification while supporting local government initiatives.
Looking ahead, the Task Force is committed to building a Community Center that will provide space for education, culture, recreation, and economic development. We invite you and your family to join us in creating a stronger, healthier, and more vibrant Mason for generations to come.

Spring & Summer Farmer's Market
The Mason Task Force Farmers Market returns during the spring and summer months! Enjoy fresh, local produce and homemade treats like: Cha-Cha Pickle, Peanut Brittle, Peanut Butter Cookies, Snow Cones, Ice Cream Cones, and much more!
Community Cleanup Day

To all of our Sponsors & Volunteers, whose contributions played a crucial role in making Community Cleanup Day a success!
The community cleanup campaign was a tremendous success, with 40 dedicated volunteers coming together to make a positive impact throughout the area. Working side by side, volunteers cleaned 12 streets across the community, demonstrating a shared commitment to keeping our neighborhoods safe, attractive, and welcoming. Their hard work resulted in the collection and proper disposal of approximately 1,700 pounds of litter and debris. This outstanding effort not only improved the appearance of our community but also highlighted the power of volunteerism and community pride. We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who donated their time and energy to help make this initiative such a meaningful achievement.
